Amazon Bedrock routing

Use Amazon Bedrock through one app configuration

Run TEKIZ.AI on a machine or server you control with your AWS profile, region, IAM permissions, and Bedrock model approvals. Your apps use one router address. Hosted access uses a separate TEKIZ.AI key and the models available to your account.

Use your own AWS account

Configure your AWS profile, region, IAM permissions, and approved Bedrock models on a router you control. Your AWS account provides Bedrock access.

OpenAI-compatible setup

For the hosted API, point OpenAI-compatible apps at https://api.tekiz.ai/v1. Hosted requests use routes available to your account. To use your own Bedrock credentials, configure them on a local router.

Choose among your Bedrock models

Use Claude, Amazon Nova, Llama, and other models approved in your account without hard-coding every app to one model ID or region.

Send a test request

This tests your hosted TEKIZ.AI key with automatic routing. To use Bedrock with your own credentials, set up a local router and configure the credentials on that router.

export OPENAI_BASE_URL=https://api.tekiz.ai/v1
export OPENAI_API_KEY=sk_tekiz_your_generated_key

curl "$OPENAI_BASE_URL/chat/completions" \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $OPENAI_API_KEY" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{
    "model": "tekizai/auto",
    "messages": [{"role": "user", "content": "Explain how to handle an API timeout."}]
  }'

Share requests across AWS profiles

Add more than one authorized AWS profile, key, region, or Bedrock route. TEKIZ.AI uses those that are working and pauses only the path that fails.

When a Bedrock route rate-limits

If Bedrock rate-limits a request, TEKIZ.AI can try another configured AWS profile or region, or an eligible provider or local model.

Send files to services that accept them

Images, audio, video, and documents are sent only to models that can handle that kind of input.

Use accounts you are allowed to use

Your own Bedrock access and AWS billing stay separate from hosted TEKIZ.AI access. On a router you control, TEKIZ.AI can try another eligible model when you configure one.

Next steps

Create an API key, copy the hosted quickstart, use the OpenAI-compatible setup, or estimate routing fit.

Stay within your approved services

If your company approves only AWS Bedrock, keep that boundary. TEKIZ.AI can reduce token burn by choosing eligible models. Your AWS account handles provider billing.
